The Lytham Dental Clinic are looking for a new member to join our family! We are looking for a Front of House receptionist to help expand our team and to provide the best care to our patients.

The Dental Front of House plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of a dental office. This role involves greeting patients, managing appointments, handling billing, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, a friendly demeanour, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Interaction:
Greet patients warmly and create a welcoming atmosphere.
Manage patient check-in and check-out processes.
Answer patient inquiries in person, over the phone, and via email.
Appointment Management:
Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
Maintain an organised appointment book and manage changes efficiently.
Coordinate with dental staff to ensure timely patient flow.
Administrative Duties:
Maintain patient records and update information as needed.
Handle billing
Process payments and issue receipts.
Maintain office supplies and ensure the reception area is tidy.
Communication:
Communicate effectively with dental team members to ensure coordinated patient care.
Relay messages between patients and dental staff.
Notify patients of upcoming appointments and follow-ups.
Customer Service:
Provide excellent customer service, addressing patient concerns and complaints promptly.
Educate patients on office policies and procedures.
Assist with patient forms and documentation.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional education or certification in office administration or related field is a plus.
Experience: Previous experience as a receptionist, preferably in a dental or medical office.
Skills:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency in office management software
Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
Basic knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
